Work and educational attainment

In 2016, Indigenous Australians with higher educational attainment were more likely to be employed.

In 2016, 83% (19,294) of Indigenous Australians aged 15–64 who held a Bachelor degree or higher were employed, 72% (16,224) who held an Advanced diploma or diploma were employed and 69% (47,112) who held a Certificate III or IV were employed (Figure EW 20).
